The Working Bee
Kia Ora Everyone!
I'm so sorry I haven't posted for a while.
This term is going to be our annual working bee! We have so many projects like the construction of our bottle greenhouse to pulling weeds out of the garden and planting new flowers and vegetables.
The facts are:
Where: Maungaraki School
When: Saturday 26th of November, roughly from 10 on-wards
What: Bring your own gloves and tools!
And, of course, a huge thank you to the local church for planning a fabulous morning tea for the workers.

Wrap Free Wednesdays
This week, Maungaraki School tried out a new scheme. Wrap Free Wednesdays.
We were inspired by other schools. Instead of plastics, we used containers to put our food in. The enviro team monitors each classes progress using a graph.
Please join in! It's a competition.

Bins
Kia Ora Whanau!
Lately, there has been a lot of cross-contamination in our bins system. We've got oranges in the fruit scraps bin. Which for our worms, is very dangerous. Please remember to put your scraps in the right bin!
Thanks!
